The thermometer is simple to use. It has an on off button, hold button, calibrate button and max memory function button. The hold button keeps temperatures displayed on the screen even after being removed from the item while the calibrate button guarantees accurate measuring. To save battery life, the thermometer includes an auto shutoff feature.

The waterproof thermometer includes a protective sleeve with a lanyard to keep the thermometer close and prevent cross-contamination when not in use. It s designed with a back clip to allow chefs to clip it to their shirt.
